FOTÓGRAFO ORIOL
La calidad de las fotos, realizadas posiblemente con fines turísticos de recuerdo de la ciudad es superior a la habitual. Varias fotos están realizadas desde un punto de vista elevado de tal manera que consigue una mejor imagen del monumento o calle representado
Postales de Oriol
Del fotógrafo Oriol solo he conseguido el dato de que tenia un estudio abierto en Barcelona a principios del siglo XX y que realizó numerosas series de postales de Barcelona y pueblos costeros mediterráneos como, por ejemplo de Valencia y Alicante.
Las postales de Oriol llevan siempre los datos del lugar en varios idiomas: Español, catalán y francés.
Figura, normalmente, en el anverso de las postales, en su parte inferior, diferentes textos: Talleres fotográficos Oriol, o el nombre de Oriol y la figura del pájaro. He encontrado alguna postal de Oriol pero de otra editorial: de Edición F Marcet y E Soler y también ed. e.i.b.
Esto me hace pensar que bajo este nombre se encuentran diferentes fotógrafos (obsérvese que una firma es como talleres fotográficos no como un solo fotógrafo) que editaron sus propias fotos en postales pero que también vendieron sus imágenes a otras editoriales. Las postales son, habitualmente, de gelatino bromuro pero también editaron postales coloreadas y cuadernillos con fotos en acordeón.
Sin embargo fotos como las que forman este álbum son escasas en el mercado fotográfico

The quality of the photos, possibly made for tourism souvenir of the city is higher than usual. Several photos are taken from a high viewpoint so getting a better picture of the monument or street represented
Oriol Postcards
Photographer Oriol've only got a tip that he had an open study in Barcelona in the early twentieth century and made numerous series of postcards of Barcelona and Mediterranean coastal towns such as Valencia and Alicante.
The postcards are always Oriol place data in multiple languages: Spanish, Catalan and French.
Figure, usually on the front of the postcards in the bottom, different texts: Oriol photographic workshops, or the name of Oriol and bird figure. I found some Oriol’s photograhs but otherwise in a different editorial: Editorial E F Marcet and Soler and ed. e.i.b.
This makes me think that under this name “Oriol” are different photographers (note that a signature is like photography workshops not a single photographer) who edited their own photos on postcards but also sold their pictures to other publishers. Postcards are usually from gelatin bromide but also edited colored postcards and booklets with photos accordion
