This architectural vintage photo album has 40 images of buildings in Paris and the surroundings in 1870. This album has the same covers as "L'Architecture Americaine" as well as the size of the cardboard, photos and papers in the inside. This is due to the relation between both editors, Librairie Ducher and Cesar Daly.

The buildings in this album are not identified through an index, however, we can read the name of the architect at the bottom of many of the cardboards. With this third architectural album we complete a collection of three series of different architecture in the 1880's:

Buildings in the city - This album
Luxury summer residences in the coast - "Villas et chalets pittoresques"
Famous and important buildings in several American cities - "L'Architecture Americaine"

These three albums represent the importance of the architectural photography in the second half of the XIX century, with great photographers and important editors dedicated to create luxury photography albums in limited editions.
